
Okay, I know that this has probably been said to you a lot, but the truth is that we have lived through somewhat confusing times in recent months; in the midst of a pandemic, and with many things returning to the rhythm of the “new normal”, I have decided that the most important thing in this time is to focus on the good things that happen to us. Whether the sun came out in the morning, someone surprised us with flowers, or you met a goal.
Tips for a better week
I’m super sure that (if you’re like me) you’re looking for a little comfort. This reminds me how powerful small details are, and that’s why I set out to find 20 things that can make your week better.
- Send yourself flowers for no reason;
- A glass of your favorite wine;
- A love letter;
- Desserts (because we deserve to break the diet);
- Lots of scented candles;
- Find a new podcast on a topic that interests you;
- New perfume (for yourself or to put on your clothes);
- Find a series or new movie to watch;
- Listen (and dance) to your favorite playlist;
- A self-care session (with masks and all included);
- Pick up your room;
- Drink more water;
- Start a journal of your emotions;
- Write a message to that friend you haven’t seen for a long time;
- Send a gift to the person that makes your life more beautiful;
- Do 30 minutes of your favorite exercise;
- Put on an outfit that makes you feel amazing;
- Take a bath with hot water;
- Take a selfie;
- Cook your favorite food.
