Keep healthy your plants with this lover tips:
Sunlight
All plants need light to thrive, so it’s crucial to place your pots in well-lit areas with natural light. Here’s a quick guide:
Direct Sunlight: Brazilian Walking Stick, succulents, Bird’s Nest Fern, cacti, and orchids.
Indirect Light: Phone Plant, peperomia, ferns, and croton.
Watering
Watering is one of the most important aspects of plant care. Over-watering or under-watering can lead to color changes in leaves or root damage. The frequency depends on the plant:
Once a Week: Succulents, orchids, Phone Plant, and Bird’s Nest Fern.
2-3 Times a Week: Ferns (in hot months), peperomia, croton, and Brazilian Walking Stick.
Repotting
Sometimes, plants come in plastic pots (for safe transportation). It’s important to transfer them to ceramic or glass pots once they’re with you. Here’s how:
Place some soil at the base of your new pot.
Gently remove the plant from its plastic pot and place it into the new pot. (VERY IMPORTANT)
Add more soil around the plant and water it until it’s moist. Your plant is now ready to thrive in its new home.
Maintenance
To keep your plant healthy:
Remove dead leaves with scissors, being careful not to damage healthy ones.
Clean accumulated soil on leaves with a damp cloth to keep them shiny.
If the soil level drops or roots become visible, mix old soil with new soil and replant to ensure continued growth.
